Please plan to arrive at least 1 hour before your departure time.  During peak season, events and weekends, parking is limited during peak times and traffic frequently backs up coming over the bridge to the beach.  Click here for more parking details.

We have a lot to offer for $22!

From the time you arrive at our Tiki Hut to the time you leave there is a lot to do!  Upon arrival, our friendly, helpful staff will greet you and help get you signed in.  When boarding, your picture will be taken and is available for purchase after your trip if you would like it.  On board, you can expect comfortable seating, a shady awning covering the entire boat and plenty of refreshing ocean breezes.  Throughout your 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 hour trip, you will have a professionally narrated tour highlighting celebrity homes, natural wildlife and historical information about the Clearwater area.  While watching the dolphins, our goal is to allow you to view them in their natural environment, undisturbed.  For legal and safety reasons, at no time do we allow our passengers or crew to feed or swim with the dolphins.  We will also stop at Compass Island for 20 to 30 minutes.  Our boats pull directly onto the beach and guests may debark without getting wet!  While on the island there are a variety of activities for guests of all ages to do including shelling, swimming and snorkeling (gear provided without charge).  When you hear the conch horn blow, our time at the island has concluded and we will continue our narrated trip back to the Clearwater Beach Marina.

Once parked and arriving at our Tiki Hut, there’s a few things to do before leaving for the boat tour.  Here’s how it’ll go:

  1. Upon arrival, you’ll need to sign in. Our friendly staff will greet you and point you in the right direction. If you haven’t completed your waivers, we can assist with this during the check-in process.  All passengers must have a waiver completed prior to boarding.  Minors will have a responsible adult sign in their place. Our staff will give you your boarding passes during check-in.
  2. As you board the boat, we’ll take your picture. This is for your safety should anything occur while you are underway with us.  We will also give you the option to purchase it at the end of your trip!

Onboard the Boat

Once onboard, you’ll choose a comfortable seat underneath the shady awning that covers the entire boat.  Blocking the sun allows you to enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze, keeping you cool and comfortable.

The entire boat tour is 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 hour long.  All through the boat cruise, you’ll have a professional guide narrating – highlighting celebrity homes, natural wildlife, and historical information about the Clearwater Beach area.

Dolphin Sightings

While watching the dolphins in their natural habitat, you’ll notice their playfulness, intelligence, and wild behavior.  For this reason, we do not disturb them as the ocean is their home, and we’re the visitors.  And, for legal and safety reasons, we DO NOT allow our passengers or crew to feed or swim with the dolphins.  The Encounters with Dolphins cruise is strictly to observe, not become a part of their pod.

Also, as a reminder, if by chance you don’t see dolphins, we’ll give you a free boat trip to use within 30 days.  If you’re on vacation, we recommend scheduling your dolphin boat tour at the beginning of your trip so you can use the guarantee, while you’re still in Clearwater Beach, should the need arise.

Compass Island

Along our journey, we’ll stop at Compass Island for 20 to 30 minutes.  Pulling directly onto the beach to avoid stepping into the water when exiting, the guests can easily stroll off in a dry manner.  Activities including shelling, swimming, and snorkeling (gear provided without charge) are available for guests of all ages, while on the island.

That said, when you hear the conch horn blow, it’s signaling that our time on the island is concluding.  Cleaning up and putting back your gear will always be appreciated, and then we’ll continue our narrated trip back to the Clearwater Beach Marina.

Towels  You’ll have an opportunity to swim or lay on the beach at Compass Island.

Camera There’s nothing better than capturing those precious and magical moments to keep for life!

Jacket:   From Late September through early April, it can be chilly on the water.  During these months you should bring some a light jacket or windbreaker along with you.

Food / Drinks: Small, personal, soft-sided coolers (lap size) are allowed with your own drinks and snacks. Our crew reserves the right to refuse to allow coolers onboard at any time that does not meet the above description.

Otherwise, we have an assortment of drinks and chips available for purchase onboard.  However, we do not offer alcoholic beverages for sale.  You are welcome to bring your own, but PLEASE drink in moderation.  Being a nuisance to other passengers is UNACCEPTABLE, and driving impaired is ILLEGAL.

Gratuity:  Please consider bringing extra cash or credit card on the day of your excursion for souvenirs, parking, drinks and more. Crew gratuities are graciously accepted. The standard tour guide tip in the tourism industry is 15-20%.

Restroom Facilities:  Our boat has a private restroom on board for emergencies while underway.  We encourage all guests to utilize the public restrooms located in the main marina building before departure.

Pets:  What would a vacation be without your furry family companion?  As long as all passengers onboard agree, we allow dogs on for free!  If it becomes too much of a strain, we’re happy to entertain them in the Tiki Hut, while you’re having fun with the dolphins.  We’re dog owners too and promise we won’t tell them you’re making new friends!

Handicap accessibility:  At this time, we are not handicap accessible.  As long as the passenger can walk for a few feet and step onto the boat – with your assistance – we can accommodate.  Wheelchairs and scooters can safely be left behind at the Tiki Hut with our sales associate during the boat tour.  Wheelchairs, scooters and walkers aren’t allowed on board.

Strollers and Car seats:  Strollers cannot be on the boat.  Car seats, on the other hand, can be used for boarding and exiting the charter.  However, buckling our youngest passengers into the seats is prohibited while boarding and un-boarding the boats.

We always do our best to contact guests well in advance of any trips being cancelled for weather conditions or maintenance issues. Our sales associate will assist in rescheduling your excursion or, if necessary, provide you with a full refund.
